2,589 DOS based games are now available to play for free in any browser on the Internet Archive. Many people of a certain generation will once again experience games that they played over and over repeatedly as kids.
The Internet Archive is mostly famous for storing the home pages of websites and is known as Wayback Machine of Internet. For example, if you want to see what White House’s website looked 15 years ago you can get it there.
However, it does a lot more than simply send surfers back in time.
