Vivo V30e Launches in India: A New Contender in the Sub-₹30,000 Segment
Vivo has introduced the Vivo V30e in India, adding a new contender to the bustling sub-₹30,000 smartphone market. The device is priced competitively, starting at ₹27,999, positioning it against notable rivals such as the Realme 12 Pro, Nothing Phone 2a, and OnePlus Nord CE 4.
Pricing and Availability
The Vivo V30e is available in two variants:
- 8GB RAM with 128GB storage for ₹27,999
- 8GB RAM with 256GB storage for ₹29,999
Customers can also enjoy a 10% instant discount when purchasing with HDFC or ICICI Bank cards. The smartphone is available from May 9 on Flipkart, Vivo’s official website, and various retail stores.
Technical Specifications
The Vivo V30e boasts a 6.78-inch Full HD AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a resolution of 2400 × 1080 pixels. It is powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 processor and the Adreno 710 GPU, catering to heavy graphical tasks. The device offers up to 8GB LPDDR4x RAM and up to 256GB UFS 2.2 storage, with an option for expansion via microSD.
Running on Funtouch 14 based on Android 14, Vivo promises three years of Android updates and four years of security patches for the V30e. The phone also features a robust 5,500mAh battery with 44W fast charging, and is available in Silk Blue and Velvet Red.

The V30e includes a dual-camera setup on the back with a 50MP SonyIMX 882 primary sensor and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens. It also features a 50MP front-facing camera, renowned for taking detailed and crisp pictures.
