Terms of Use

Last updated: 19 July 2026

The short version: Your Finances is a tool to record and understand your own money — not financial advice. It's free to use, with an optional Premium upgrade billed by Apple. You manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple Account settings.

1. Acceptance & licence

By downloading or using Your Finances, you agree to these Terms. We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, in accordance with Apple's Standard End User Licence Agreement (EULA), which applies except where these Terms are more specific.

2. The app is a tool, not financial advice

Your Finances helps you record and understand your own money. Its articles, calculators (SIP, EMI, FD and others), reports, and insights are for general education only. They are not personalised financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. You are responsible for your financial decisions and should consult a qualified professional where appropriate.

3. Your data and backups

Your financial data is stored on your device, and — if you enable it — in your own private iCloud container. You are responsible for maintaining your own backups. We cannot recover data lost because a device is lost, reset, or damaged, or because you delete it. See our Privacy Policy for how data is handled.

4. Premium subscriptions and billing

The app is free to use with core features. Optional Premium is available as an auto-renewing subscription (monthly or yearly) and as a one-time lifetime purchase, sold through Apple In-App Purchase.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to reverse-engineer, resell, or misuse the app, or use it in violation of applicable law. The app is provided for lawful, personal money management.

6. Disclaimer of warranties

The app is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that calculations, insights, or reminders will be uninterrupted or error-free, and they should not be your sole basis for a financial decision.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data or profits, arising from your use of the app.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms as the app evolves. We will revise the "Last updated" date above and post the new version at this address. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
