New Zealand reported four new coronavirus cases on Thursday, taking the total number of infections in the country to 1,441, according to the Health Ministry.

The new cases comprise two community cases linked to the Auckland family cluster and two imported cases detected at managed isolation facilities, reports Xinhua news agency.

Of the imported cases, the two patients arrived from India on August 27 and are now in quarantine, the Ministry said.

With Thursday's four new cases and nine additional recovered cases, the country's total number of active cases is 120.

Of those, 39 are imported cases in managed isolation facilities, and 81 are community cases, according to the Ministry.

The death toll stood at 24.
