Aviation pioneer and space-travel record breaker Wally Funk dies at 87, Engadget reports
Wally Funk, who became the oldest person to fly in space at age 82 in 2021 aboard Blue Origin's New Shepard, has died at 87. She was also among the Mercury 13 women who trained for spaceflight in the 1960s.
