Rapidus plans lower wafer pricing than TSMC for 2nm class silicon at ~$20,000 on 2027 launch, targets 60 customers

Japanese chipmaker Rapidus disclosed its pricing strategy, aiming to offer 2nm class wafers at around $20,000, lower than TSMC. The company is targeting 60 potential customers and plans to launch in 2027 with a single Hokkaido fab.
