Unlogged hours are unbilled hours. Log time as you work it — date, client, what you did, hours, rate — and when it is time to bill, one click turns a client’s unbilled entries into a ready invoice with each day as a line item.
Each unbilled entry becomes an invoice line — the description with its date, hours as the quantity, your hourly rate as the rate. One click creates a draft in the invoice builder with those lines in place and marks the entries billed, so nothing is invoiced twice.
Because the leak is in between: hours logged in a notes app quietly never make it onto an invoice. Keeping the ledger next to the billing closes the gap — the tracker literally shows a “Ready to bill” total per client.
In your browser only — clients, hours and rates are never uploaded. Export the CSV if you need a durable record or want the sheet in Excel.
Yes — the rate is per entry, and the form remembers the last client and rate you used, so a stretch of entries for one client takes one keystroke each.
