Rava Dosa Recipe

Rava Dosa is a recipe that you will be looking out while making something nice and quick for breakfast. Rava dosa can be prepared easily and quickly. There is no need to do any preparations before hand for making Rava dosa. It tastes really scrumptious.

If rice flour is not available, then add some refined flour in semolina and make the dosa. You can also add some refined flour in rice flour for making the dosa. When tawa is slightly warm, only then spread the dosa. Ensure you spread the dosa evenly and thinly.

Ingredients

    • Semolina/Rava – 1 cup
    • All-purpose flour/Maida – ½cup
    • Green chilly chopped – 1no
    • Ginger chopped – 2 tsp
    • Coriander chopped – 1 tbsp
    • Rice flour – 1 cup
    • Salt – to taste
    • Curry leaves chopped – handful
    • Cumin – 1 tsp
    • Water – 4cups approx

Method

  • Mix together rava, maida, rice flour, salt, green chilly, ginger, cumin, coriander and water.

  • Mix and give rest for 15 mins.

  • Heat a pan and sprinkle chopped onions.
  • Stir the batter and pour over the pan.

  • You can sprinkle the batter as well.
  • Cook for a minute on med hot flame and then drizzle oil.

  • Cook for another 1 minute.
  • Flip and cook for 30 seconds.

  • Flip again and fold it and serve hot.
