Xbox Free Play Days: 5 Games You Can Play for Free This Weekend

Xbox has announced another round of Free Play Days, giving Game Pass members access to five games at no extra cost this weekend. Whether you're into pirate adventures, WWII combat, or putting out fires, there's something for everyone.
This Weekend's Free Games
Sea of Thieves
Rare's open-world pirate adventure continues to be one of Xbox's biggest hits. Sail the seas, hunt for treasure, fight skeleton crews, and inevitably get sunk by other players. It's the game that proves everyone is a terrible pirate.
Hell Let Loose
A hardcore WWII first-person shooter that drops 100 players into massive battles across historically accurate maps. If you've ever wanted to experience the chaos of D-Day from your couch, this is your chance.
Trailmakers
Build vehicles from scratch and race them across a massive open world. Part racing game, part engineering sandbox, Trailmakers lets you create everything from simple cars to flying machines.
Totally Reliable Delivery Service
A physics-based comedy game where you deliver packages using intentionally terrible controls. Think of it as a delivery simulator designed by the people who brought you QWOP.
Firefighting Simulator: Ignite
Live out your firefighter fantasies in this simulation game that lets you respond to emergencies, operate fire trucks, and save buildings from destruction.
How to Access Free Play Days
Free Play Days games are available to all Xbox Game Pass members. Simply navigate to the Free Play Days section in the Xbox Store or Game Pass tab to download and play. The games are available from March 19 through March 22, 2026.
If you enjoy any of the games, they're typically available at a discount during the Free Play Days period.
The Bottom Line
Sea of Thieves and Hell Let Loose are the standouts here. Sea of Thieves is genuinely one of the best multiplayer experiences on Xbox, and Hell Let Loose offers a refreshingly realistic alternative to Call of Duty. The other three are fun weekend distractions. Not a bad lineup for free.
