Device Permissions

CapturetoComprehend requires the following permissions to function:

  • Camera: Used to capture images for text recognition. Images are processed locally and never leave your device.
  • Photo Library: Used to allow you to select existing photos for text recognition. Selected images are processed locally and never leave your device.

Data Storage

The app stores the following data locally on your device:

  • Scan History: Your previous scans are stored locally on your device for your convenience. This data never leaves your device and can be deleted at any time from within the app.
  • Theme Preferences: Your selected app theme is stored locally using standard iOS preferences.

Data Sharing

We do not share any data with third parties because we do not collect any data. When you use the Share feature, you are using iOS's built-in sharing functionality, and any sharing is initiated and controlled by you.
