OnePlus: 10T arriving on August 3rd having Top-shelf Chipset

OnePlus CEO communicates that it's upcoming 10T will launch on August 3rd with an in-person affair in New York City.
The 10T resumes OnePlus' tradition of performance-focused specifications with a Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset, which is, in theory, a cut above the standard ol' Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 in the OnePlus 10 Pro.
OnePlus will also take the chance to launch OxygenOS 13, which Lau says will arrive at the 10 Pro first and the 10T subsequently this year.
Qualcomm says the "Plus" variant of the 8 Gen 1 offers faster performance and more suitable battery efficiency than the non-plus chipset. It's a pull-out-all-the-stops kind of processor primarily planned for mobile devices geared toward gaming.
Nevertheless, it indicates that the 10T will be more performance-oriented than the mainstream 10 Pro, a pleasant phone that comes up slightly short against the Samsung Galaxy S22.
OnePlus is recreating its usual long game and isn't revealing much now. A little sleuthing doesn't show much in the shadowy parts of the single image of the device that OnePlus has released, either. It appears to have a camera array similar to the OnePlus 10 Pro's, which delivers standard wide, ultrawide, and telephoto rear lenses.

Both devices glance like they have a fourth rear camera, but on the 10 Pro, at least, that's just a flash. It appears unlikely that OnePlus would have overhauled the camera system for this second-half-of-the-year release, but that's one class where the 10 Pro comes up short, and the 10T could improve.
While OnePlus is tight-lipped, whispers have been a little more revealing of what the company might have up its sleeve, indicating that we might see very fast 150W charging and — brace yourself — the departure of the physical alert slider. Say it isn't so, Pete. All will be revealed soon enough — the launch event starts at 10 AM ET on August 3rd.

OnePlus made its derivatives available in Southeast Asia for the first time, partnering with Lazada Indonesia on January 23rd, 2015, and was expected to expand during that year throughout the region. However, in June 2016, OnePlus determined to pull out of the Indonesian need due to local regulations for imported 4G mobiles restricting sales of the OnePlus 2.
