How to set up a store on Your Facebook Page

Facebook is the biggest social media platform on the globe. It's therefore prudent to sell your products on this platform. But how? 1. Open the Shop Page on Your FB Page

Well, let's assume you have a Facebook page for your business. Also, you need to have admin privileges to make these changes. By default, your Facebook page will have a Shop Page showing where you log in as an admin. Your customers won't see this but you'll be able to. To start, locate this shop tab and click on it. But what if you don't see the shop tab? Check whether you have activated the right tabs? You can comfortably get this from Template and Tabs on Your settings tab.

2. Set Up the Store Details

Once you click on the shop tab, a pop up will show. Read through and click the Get Started button. After this, another popup emerges. It'll require you to give your business details. Punch in the type of your business and its address. After this, move to the next button. Here, you'll need to select the state where you are doing your business. Facebook will also ask for your tax registration number. Whereas you can skip this step, you'll still need to give your tax registration number later. Also, you'll need to specify your email and currency to receive payments on. In most cases, Facebook will detect your location and set the currency to use.

3. Configure your Payments

Here, you'll get a popup that requests your tax details. It's mandatory. Also, you can't change the tax number later. As such, ensure the information you punch in is correct. Such include the business name, tax details and the employer identification number. After this, you'll be free to link your bank account with Facebook for payments.

4. Add Products to Your Store

Your business is ready to make sales. But what will you be selling? You'll need to add some products that your target market can consider for purchases. You may add photos to reveal the products you're selling and what they look like. Once you upload the photos, give a brief description of the products you're selling. Feel free to discuss what makes your product special. Complete the settings and make configurations for shipping.
