6 Cool Ways to Display Your Favorite Art or Photos

When you have cool artwork or photos you want to display, you might start by thinking of all the ways you can print them out and hang them on your wall. This method works great when you're in high school and you're trying to cover your walls and don't care about visible tape and push pins, but if you want it to look nice, there's a better way.
If you want your home to have the aesthetics of your favorite art and photos, yet still look nice, here are some ideas.
1. Get some canvas photo prints
Canvas photo prints are one of the most visually pleasing ways to display art in your home. Far from the traditional flat print in a wooden frame, these are printed on what looks like the same type of canvas that would be hand painted. The texture is different to accommodate the special printing process, but they look just like a regular piece of art you'd buy from a gallery. The difference is you get to choose what art to put on the canvas for a more customized aesthetic.
There are several frame styles to choose from but one the best styles is a floating frame canvas. They're minimal, neat, and floating frames just look really cool compared to traditional frames. Although floater frames serve a specific purpose "“ namely to ensure the artist's signature is visible "“ they have a nice aesthetic regardless.
2. Print your art on some throw pillows
Whether you're working with photos you took of nature, family photos, or your own artwork, put it on some throw pillows for your couch. You'll enjoy coming home from a long day at work, relaxing on the couch, and being surrounded by your favorite imagery.
Most printers will print directly on the throw pillows, but some also have the option of printing on a pillowcase instead. Both are washable but have a slightly different look.
3. Print your art on a blanket or quilt
You probably have blankets throughout your house other than in your bedroom. Maybe you have one over the couch or on your favorite armchair that people in your household use regularly.
Why not customize those blankets? When you custom print your art or photos onto a throw blanket, you'll feel happier snuggling up to a warm fire or a movie on the couch.
4. Get some photo collage frames
Photo collage frames are timeless. These are the frames that have a bunch of different shaped spots for individual photos. These photo collage frames will look really good in your hallway or living room. Being on your walls, they'll always remind you of the good times you've had with your loved ones.
You can find collage frames anywhere home décor is sold, and they come in all different sizes with varying numbers of spaces for photos inside. For instance, some have just three spaces while others have ten or more.
5. Hang some photo cubes from the ceiling
Photo cubes are versatile. You can place them on your desk, on a dresser, your fireplace mantle, or you can hang them from the ceiling. Some cubes are made for being suspended, but if you can't find any of those, you can superglue the string to the top.
With a handful of cubes, you can hang them at varying heights and make it look like something you might see in an art gallery.
6. Get a custom printed area rug
Most print on demand (POD) companies don't offer area rugs, but there are a small number that have them in several sizes. Area rugs can really make a statement about your design preferences, and if you have art that would look good on a rug, get one.
It's hard enough to find a good area rug in the specific color, texture, and size that you want. Oftentimes, the patterns are decent but not quite perfect. Or, the colors are almost what you want, but slightly the wrong hue. This is why you should print your own rug.
