Privacy Policy
Effective 31 July 2026 · Applies to SipUp for iPhone and Apple Watch
The short version
SipUp is local-first. Your hydration logs, goals, and settings live on your device (and sync to your paired Apple Watch). We run no servers, require no account, and never see your data.
Data we collect
None. SipUp has no sign-up, no analytics SDKs, and no crash reporters. Everything you log stays in the app's private storage on your devices and is deleted when you delete the app.
Advertising (free version)
The free version shows banner ads served by Google AdMob. SipUp requests non-personalized, contextual ads only: every ad request is flagged non-personalized, the app never asks for App Tracking Transparency permission, and none of your hydration data, settings, or identity is shared with the ad network. Google may collect coarse, non-identifying signals (such as approximate location inferred from IP, device model, and ad interaction data) to serve and measure contextual ads, as described in Google's Privacy Policy. Purchasing SipUp Pro removes all advertising.
Purchases
SipUp Pro is a one-time purchase processed entirely by Apple. We receive no payment details; Apple's receipt system unlocks Pro on your devices.
Notifications
Reminders are scheduled locally on your device. Nothing about your notification activity leaves it.
Children
SipUp is a general-audience utility and does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new effective date.
