Shakira is the most followed woman on Facebook, with 126 million followers. Rihanna is second with 102 million, followed by Selena Gomez with 84 million and Taylor Swift with 77 million. Every count below was read directly from the celebrity's official Facebook page on November 7, 2026.
We first published this list in 2011 and have rebuilt it from those live counts. An earlier version used estimates that were well off: it put Ariana Grande eighth with 65 million followers when her page shows 40 million, and it missed Priyanka Chopra Jonas entirely.

The top 10, one by one
1. Shakira: 126 million followers
The Colombian singer behind "Hips Don't Lie" and "Waka Waka (This Time for Africa)", the official song of the 2010 FIFA World Cup, has the biggest Facebook page of any woman. Among real people, only Cristiano Ronaldo has more followers. Her 2024 album Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran won the Grammy for Best Latin Pop Album.
2. Rihanna: 102 million followers
The Barbadian singer of "Umbrella" and "Diamonds" is one of only two women on Facebook above 100 million. She founded Fenty Beauty in 2017 and headlined the Super Bowl LVII halftime show in February 2023.
3. Selena Gomez: 84 million followers
Gomez moved from Disney Channel's Wizards of Waverly Place to a pop career, and has co-starred in Hulu's Only Murders in the Building since 2021. She founded the cosmetics brand Rare Beauty in 2020.
4. Taylor Swift: 77 million followers
Swift's Eras Tour, which ran from March 2023 to December 2024, grossed more than $2 billion and became the highest-grossing concert tour ever. She released the album The Life of a Showgirl in October 2025.
5. Katy Perry: 68 million followers
Perry built her audience on hits such as "Firework" and "Roar", and spent seven seasons as a judge on American Idol. In April 2025 she flew on Blue Origin's all-women New Shepard spaceflight.
6. Adele: 67 million followers
The British singer's albums 19, 21, 25 and 30 are named after her age when she wrote them. Her Weekends with Adele residency in Las Vegas ran from 2022 to 2024.
7. Jennifer Lopez: 60 million followers
Lopez works across music and film, from "Waiting for Tonight" and "On the Floor" to the movies Selena (1997) and Hustlers (2019). Her album This Is Me... Now came out in 2024.
8. Beyoncé: 55 million followers
Beyoncé holds the record for the most Grammy wins by any artist, and her 2024 album Cowboy Carter won Album of the Year. She ties with Lady Gaga: Facebook shows both pages as 55 million, so their order here is alphabetical.
9. Lady Gaga: 55 million followers
Gaga is known for "Poker Face" and "Bad Romance", and she won an Oscar for "Shallow" from the 2018 film A Star Is Born. Her album Mayhem came out in 2025.
10. Priyanka Chopra Jonas: 53 million followers
The former Miss World (2000) starred in Bollywood films such as Barfi! and Mary Kom before leading the US series Quantico and Citadel. She is the highest-placed Indian woman on this list, and India has more Facebook users than any other country, according to DataReportal.

We couldn't open Miley Cyrus's page from our account. Social Blade listed it at about 47.6 million likes in May 2026, which would put her near Nicki Minaj but outside the top 10. The pages for Avril Lavigne and Jacqueline Fernandez also didn't show us a count.
What the ranking shows
- Music dominates. Nine of the top 10 have major music careers, though Selena Gomez, Jennifer Lopez and Lady Gaga also act. Priyanka Chopra Jonas is the only one known mainly as an actress.
- The top is lopsided. Shakira has more than twice as many followers as Beyoncé, Lady Gaga or Priyanka Chopra Jonas.
- Women are rare at the very top. In Wikipedia's list of the most-followed pages, dated August 28, 2026, Shakira is the only woman in the top 10, and only seven women make the top 50. Brands, football clubs and media pages take most of the places.

How we counted
- Source. We read the public follower count on each official page on November 7, 2026. Facebook shows large counts in whole millions, which is why Beyoncé and Lady Gaga tie.
- Who we checked. We started with the women in Wikipedia's top 50, which only reaches down to 60 million, then read about 20 more pages that were likely candidates. A woman we didn't think to check could still sit above 53 million; if you know of one, tell us and we'll check her page.
- Cross-check. Our readings were within 1 million of Wikipedia's August 2026 list for all seven women it includes. Epidemic Sound's November 2026 ranking also has Shakira at 126 million.
- What's excluded. We counted individual women only, not bands, fan pages, brands or fictional characters.
