The highly anticipated movie of 2019 Saand Ki Aankh is now running in the theaters. The movie stars Taapsee Pannu and Bhumi Pednekar in lead roles. Directed by Tushar Hiranandani, the movie was highly criticized by the film fraternity as well as masses for the casting of actors.
If you aren’t aware, Saand Ki Aankh is the biographical drama based on the lives of the world’s sharpest shooters Chandro and Prakashi Tomar. The movie stars young faces of Bollywood who are in their early 30’s to portray the character if 70 years old. While the makers and actors defended their film and choice of cast, people weren’t really happy with it.
The initial reviews of the film are all praise for the actors by netizens. The reviews suggest both the leads played their part pretty well. Though many still agree elder actors could have done more justice to the film. Write from direction to screenplay, acting, the cinematography was appreciated. The one problem though seems to be overdramatized scenes.
The movie deals with the issue of patriarchy and inequality in a small town or even cities for that matter, the movie leaves an impact on the audience. Saand Ki Ankh receives relative positive reviews. Well, as they say, never judge a book by its cover.

SOLID❤
This one is all heart & soul with superb humor. The 1st half is a complete film. The rural setting are perfect and so are the actors. The kind of cinema we can nurture even further, ek baar maukka de ke toh dekho! @taapsee @bhumipednekar

The best part of #SaandKiAankh is that you know the story. Yet, you’ll find yourself rooting for the women throughout. They’re fighting patriarchy, one man at a time. @bhumipednekar and @taapsee are refreshingly fabulous doing full justice to the role #SaandKiAankhReview

Usually biopic ends with the picture and we hardly get to see the glimpse of the real actors. However, at the end, you will get to witness to see d real shooters @realshooterdadi & @shooterdadi. #SaandKiAankhReview@RelianceEnt@bhumipednekar @taapsee @prakashjha27 @tushar1307
