Drop your logo into the middle, set the size and quiet-space margin, and choose an error-correction level — a higher level keeps a code readable when a logo covers part of it, or when the print gets scuffed. Make Sure It Actually Scans
- Keep the pale quiet space around the code; it is part of the code, not a margin you can crop.
- Dark code on a light background scans best. Inverted codes fail on many older scanners.
- Print at least 2 × 2 cm, and roughly 1 inch for every 10 feet a person will stand back.
- Test with two or three real phones before you print a thousand of anything.
