Early Life And Family – The real name of Nora Fatehi is Naura Fathi. She was born on 6 February 1992 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. She belongs to an Islamic-Arabic-Moroccan family. She has a younger brother Omar. Not much is known about her parents.
In an interview with Komal Nahata in his chat show ‘Starry Night Gen Y’, Nora reveals her early life struggle. She shares that she started working at a very early age of 16 to support her family as her family went through financial issues. Her first job was as a sales associate in a mall which was next to her school. She used to complete her classes and then go to the mall to work. Further, Nora added that she worked in a men’s apparel store for some time and later worked as a waitress at bars and restaurants. She said that she has worked in a telemarketing office for some time selling Lottery tickets and has also worked at McDonald’s and on commission.
Education and Qualification: Nora Fatehi completed her schooling at Westview Centennial Secondary School, Toronto. She joined York University, Toronto, to pursue graduation, but she could not complete her graduation due to specific reasons. Since her school days, she was fond of learning belly dance. She learned belly dancing by watching videos on the internet. Later on, Nora started her career as a model and signed with a model and talent agency, ‘Orange Model Management’.
The modelling agency ‘Orange Model Management’ that Nora signed send her to India. Controversy: There was a video clip from the reality show ‘India’s Best Dancer’ in which Nora participated as a substitute judge. The video emerged on social media showing Terrence Lewis, the famous choreographer brushing his hand, allegedly at Nora’s assets. Terence was trolled for it, and several memes were made on it. Later on, the choreographer clarified himself on social media by posting a story and thanked Nora Fatehi for being a supporter. Nora requested the trollers, not to Photoshop for fun.
Love Life: Nora was in a relationship with Angad Bedi, the actor. Both were dating and were close. Rumours are that Nora was planning a life with him.
