Samsung’s Newly Launched Mega 2 with Leaked Specifications

After the release of Galaxy Mega phones in the Indian market, company is working on the “Mega 2” project, and it will be available at affordable prices.

Benchmarks on GFX bench has disclosed that they will probably targets a low to mid-range market with a large 5.9-inch display maintaining the same 1,280 x 720 pixels resolution screen.

The new product Mega 2 will be powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 CPU along with 2GB of RAM. If we talk about the camera, one can expect a 4.7-megapixel front-facing shooter and a 12-megapixel rear-facing camera. Now, we cannot tell about the expandable memory slot yet but it will have an 8GB of internal storage.


The Mega 2 will feature the usual connectivity options such as Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS and NFC. The device will run Android 4.4. KitKat and having sensors like proximity, gyroscope, light sensor and accelerometer.

Samsung plan is to introduce a low-end Note-like device that can fit in the budget segment.

The pricing and availability details are still unclear.
