Apple HomePod Officially Comes To India
Rejoice, Apple lovers. The Apple HomePod will be soon available in the Indian market and it is a lot cheaper than the price in the U.S. The device will be sold in the Indian market for INR 19,000 which is cheaper than $299 price in the U.S.
HomePod was first launched in the US, Australia & UK last year in January and then went on sale in several countries, before coming to India.
The device supports Indian English Siri voices which adapt to its location and delivers high-loyalty audio wherever it’s playing. The news came soon after Apple launched its iOS 13.3.1. This will give Indian users a plethora of features which includes the ability to ask Siri to play songs, podcast and radio. The device will also let the consumer have access to over 60 million songs with Apple Music.
“HomePod combines custom Apple-engineered audio technology and advanced software to deliver precision sound that fills the room. At less than 18 centimetres tall, HomePod fits anywhere in your home,” said Apple.
The HomePod comes with an array of six-microphones and an internal bass-EQ microphone which analyse & atones for the effect of the room on the bass response, providing rich, consistent sound.
The HomePod is available two colour variants that are white & space grey. The HomePod is super easy to setup. All you need to do is plug it in and your iOS or iPadOS device will detect it. Equipped with spatial awareness, HomePod automatically tunes itself to give you optimal sound.
Another interesting feature is, using Airplay you can play the same song on multiple HomePod devices and creates an unmatchable audio experience.
Though the official website has announced the price & features, there is no news on when exactly the device will be available in the stores for the sale.
