Move to iOS – a new app by Apple to grab Android’s market

Apple’s new iOS 9 is ready to install on your iPhone; you will be getting an update right away. Here is review and some tips on using it.

Plus .. you now have an option telling you to switch from Android.

Apple has made an app (Move to iOS) on Google Play Store that will make it easier than ever to switch from Android to iPhone. This app is the first one made by Apple for Google Play, earlier an app called Beat was introduced by later got acquired. With iOS9 announcement this app got its existence known.

I think this is the correct move made by Apple, to get some new users to move from Android to iPhone.

You will be able to move all your mail accounts, calendars, message history, photos, and videos, contacts, etc. All of these are essential to move from one operating system to another.
Here’s the description of Apple’s new app supporting the move of Android to iOS.

“Everything about iOS is designed to be easy. That includes switching to it. With just a few steps, you can migrate your content automatically and securely from your Android device with the Move to iOS app. No need to save your stuff elsewhere before switching from Android. The Move to iOS app securely transfers all kinds of content for you.”

And my favorite part…

The working is simple, when you are moving from Android to iOS, the app will create an private Wi-Fi network that will allow you to find your Android device. You just need to Drop your security code.
