Get a Uber Refund : Using the Uber App
Open Uber. Tap the Uber app resembling the black-and-white Uber logo to open the Uber map interface when logged into Uber. If not logged into Uber, just use phone number and password or the Facebook profile. for your information, no one can contact Uber via a phone call.
Tap ?. Placed in the top-left corner of the screen for a menu to appear.

- I paid a toll or parking fee for my driver

Read selected issue’s policy. Read Uber’s policy on the selected issue before proceeding.
Fill out the issue’s form. Scroll down to fill out the issue’s form which generally consist of details about the incident. For this check a box next to specific issue and depending on selected issue. Tap SUBMIT. Placed at the bottom of the page for sending to Uber fare dispute. In case Uber agrees with the dispute criteria, they will refund thru any of payment method like debit card or PayPal account.
Get a Uber Refund : Using the Uber Website
Open the Uber website. Go to https://help.uber.com/ in computer’s browser with the Uber mobile app and request a refund on the Uber site.
Click SIGN IN. Placed in the upper-right corner of the page to sign in with Uber account to view trip history and file a dispute for a specific trip.

Sign into Uber account. Enter Uber phone number or email address, click NEXT, check the “I’m not a robot” box when prompted, enter password, and tap NEXT.
Tap the FOR RIDERS tab. Light-grey tab is placed on the left side of the window.
Click the dated drop-down box. Placed at the top of the map section, just below the “Trip Issues and Refunds,” prompts a drop-down menu.
Select a trip. Tap the date of the trip for which you wish to settle the disputed charge and change the information and links to the right of the map section for reflecting the selected trip.
Click I would like a refund. The option is placed to the right of the map section and this will open trip’s page.
Scroll down and select the necessary issue. You must be able one or more of the following issues listed at the bottom of the page so as to click one that picks up your problem briefly :
- My driver took a poor route
- My pickup or drop-off location was wrong
- The route had heavy traffic
- Someone else took this trip
- I paid a toll or parking fee for my driver
- My driver made an unrequested stop
- My promo code didn’t work
- I was charged a cleaning fee
- I had an uberPOOL fare issue
- I had a different issue with my charge

Enter all the required details as possible. After selecting a reason fill out the form to submit the appeal. Various reasons will have slightly various forms. Ensure a clear and polite. Angry and disrespectful requests get or likely to be get ignored or rejected.
Tap SUBMIT. A green button at the bottom of the page must be clicked to submit the dispute to Uber.
