From impressive beaches to comprehensive golf courses, most recognize the Bahamas as are relaxing Caribbean vacation. There are well-known attractions and marketplaces in Nassau and Freeport.

Kid-friendly temptations like the water park at Atlantis, Paradise Island make this a great family stop as well.

The Bahamas’ year-round warm climate makes it a top spot for a relaxing holiday in the sun, with the beaches surveying the country’s crystal blue waters. Available seashores on the Bahamas’ 700 islands extend from water sports-focused strands at mega-resorts like Atlantis, Paradise Island to quiet sanctuaries on private islands. Some are excellent locales for snorkeling or horseback riding, while others are fit for lounging with a drink.

Atlantis, Paradise Island
Dispersed across Paradise Island, the Atlantis Paradise Island resort collection is the place to top-notch accommodations, a golf course, a casino, and multiple restaurants. In extension, other regular things, it offers 5 miles of white sand beaches with 11 swimming pools; Atlantis touts a 141-acre water park called Aquaventure, where you’ll find a lazy river, a Mayan-themed water playground, and eight waterslides.

Clifton Heritage National Park
This Nassau national park extends an excellent combination of historical and outdoor contributions. Positioned on the easternmost point of New Providence Island, Clifton Heritage National Park features beaches, significant cultural ruins, snorkeling opportunities, and green walking trails. As for snorkeling, this national park is home to coral reefs and the Sir Nicholas Nuttall Coral Reef Sculpture Garden, which features the world’s most giant underwater sculpture and an underwater prop from one of the James Bond movies. In addition, there is a village where Lucayans lived and slave quarters when the site was a plantation in the 18th and 19th centuries.

Pig Beach
Pig Beach is the quirkiest and most impressive attraction in the Bahamas. Pig Beach is designated for the small community of pigs that describe this beach home. The pigs live hereabouts, take dips in the ocean, and are attached to the locals and travelers who make the trek to this isolated island. If you’re admiring how the pigs got here, no one positively knows. They aren’t indigenous to the Bahamas. They are supposed to have been dropped behind either by a seaman or a shipwreck.
