Apple ‘White Glove Experiences’ for most helpful Community Members

Apple rewards the most active and valuable members of its support forums with its new Community Plus program with White Glove Experience. The invite-only program provides these “high-level” Support Community members access to exclusive bonuses and experiences.

Apple’s Support Community associates can already earn points founded on their activity, granting them access to rewards as they level up.

It includes the ability to upload a business avatar and participate in conference calls with the Apple Support Community team and in-person meetups with other associates.

But the Community Plus program seems to take things a bit further. It involves the “shining stars” of Apple support forums, which provide the most detailed and helpful responses. Apple states it will only add a “small group” of individuals to the program annually.

If this sort of program sounds familiar, you may remember that Microsoft has had its MVP award for over 20 years and has identified over 4,000 MVPs so far — sometimes rewarding them with trips, subscriptions that kept free access to costly software, and free training fabrics.

So yes, Apple’s program is a bit new regarding honoring the most active support technicians. But it appears like Apple’s looking to show and encourage more experts who work outside its stores and on platforms where customers frequently end up, even if those aren’t official Apple employees. Google has extended leaned on platforms to augment or substitute tech support — it established the Nexus One without a digit to call for tech support but added one later. It has rewards for product experts consolidating on connecting with the company and beta testing new updates.

White Glove Experience

Apple is relatively light on the details as to how members could profit from the Community Plus program. For example, Apple says it will give members “white-glove experiences, and more,” but it’s unclear what that entails.

Earlier this year, Apple submitted updates to its professional training programs for IT professionals, providing people the ability to obtain certificates for learning Apple’s systems and devices in an online, self-paced format; at the same time, it’s streaking up technicians for on-site service calls in its Business Essentials program. Apple’s also making out its presence in the DIY space. In April, Apple’s self-repair service for the iPhone 12 and 13, which lets users purchase the parts they require to fix their devices and provides them with instructions on how to do so, went live in the US.

Apple has just founded a new global “Apple Community+” program that strives to recognize and reward top allies in the Apple Support Community by “delivering the key to special perks, white-glove experiences, and more.”

In the Apple Support Community, they identify when a member’s positive attitude, expertise, and curiosity to explore new solutions significantly impact our Community. So we created the global Apple Community+ program to honor and celebrate these members! We invite a small group of supporters from the highest levels of the Community each year to join the program. It’s the way to say thank you and show appreciation.

In operating the invitation-only program, Apple says it will examine high-level community members who “embody the rates that make our space warm and welcoming” by being engaged and active in the Community, sharing quality content, and helpful answers to technical questions.

Apple users can participate in Apple Support Communities to earn points, levels, and awards and grow their reputation as trusted peers. Apple also provides a breakdown of the classes and perks available on its support site.

In the Apple Support Community, they recognize when a member’s optimistic perspective, expertise, and curiosity to analyze new solutions significantly impact the Community. So they created the global Apple Community+ program to honor and celebrate these members! Each year, they invite a small group of contributors from the highest levels of the Community to join the program. It’s their way of saying thank you and showing their appreciation.

Apple Community+ program members share valuable insights and endless knowledge, make everyone feel welcome, and inspire others through thoughtful collaboration—that deserves celebrating. That’s why they happily give these members access to special perks, white-glove experiences, and more. However, invitations are limited to keep the program offerings fresh and unique.

Participation in the Apple Community+ schedule is by invitation only. They scrutinize for shining stars—high-level community members who exemplify the qualities that make our space warm and welcoming. They’re engaged and active in the Community. They share quality content and helpful answers to build their reputation. And most importantly, they’re role models whose character motivates others and elevates the Community.
