Online Delivery Changes

Free Store Pickup: Thousands of items are suitable for free store pickup, and many can be available within a few hours. Due to the high number of packages being prepared, pickup times may be delayed in some cases. Please expect to get an email or text notification before going to the repository to pick up the order.

Delivery Services To Home: Delivery of online orders remains open, although there may be obstacles due to high request and inventory availability. They currently allow limited scheduled delivery assistance for online orders. However, same-day and next-day delivery assistance have been suspended until further notification.

Supporting Communities

Personal Protective Equipment Donations – They have donated thousands of dollars in personal protective equipment (PPE) to healthcare providers, hospitals and first responders. Due to these donations, PPE items may be unavailable in markets and online.

Product Prioritization & Availability – While prioritizing many basic supplies to healthcare providers, their supply chain team concentrates on restocking inventory securely and swiftly.

Supporting Associates 

To accommodate their associates with the time required to take care of themselves and their families, the Home Depot stores have achieved the following steps:

  • Appended 80 hours of paid time off for all full-time hourly partners and 40 hours of paid time off for part-time hourly partners to be used at their preference at any time in 2020 and settled out at year-end if not used.
  • For teammates who are 65 years of age or older, or planned to be at higher chance by the CDC, attached 160 hours of paid time off for full-time hourly associates and 80 hours of paid time off for part-time hourly partners to be used at their concern at any point in 2020 and settled out at year-end if not accepted.
  • Implementing paid time off for any associate who has got COVID-19 until cleared by a doctor.
  • They accommodate up to 14 days of paid time off for any associate to be quarantined by a public health authority or the CDC.
