Generate a full year of rent receipts for your HRA claim in one go — one receipt per month, with the amount in words, your landlord’s PAN, and a revenue-stamp space where cash payments need one. Everything stays in your browser; nothing is uploaded.
Your employer needs proof that you actually paid the rent you are claiming House Rent Allowance against. Rent receipts, signed by the landlord, are that proof. They are collected at investment-proof time (typically December to February) and kept on file for the tax assessment.
The tenant’s name, the landlord’s name and signature, the property address, the rent amount in figures and words, the period it covers, the date, and the payment mode. If your annual rent exceeds ₹1,00,000, your employer will also ask for the landlord’s PAN.
Most employers expect monthly receipts, or at minimum one per quarter. This tool generates one receipt per month for whatever period you pick — a full financial year of receipts in a single PDF, one page each, ready to sign.
Convention (rooted in the Indian Stamp Act) is a one-rupee revenue stamp on receipts for CASH payments above ₹5,000. Digital payments — UPI, bank transfer, cheque — need no stamp because the bank record itself is evidence. When you pick cash above ₹5,000 here, each receipt includes a marked space for the stamp.
It is required by your employer when your annual rent exceeds ₹1,00,000 — without it, the employer must limit your HRA exemption. If your landlord has no PAN, employers accept a signed declaration to that effect instead.
No. This tool runs entirely in your browser — names, addresses and amounts never leave your device. The PDF is generated locally and downloaded straight to you.
