1. The Test Case
Captain Shikha Sharma, the main character, is the sole female among a squad of Indian Army officers undergoing special forces training. She is the first female student in the school, making her a “test case” for the Indian army’s plan to hire women for combat-related positions. Despite being brilliant and very motivated, the plot follows her path of overcoming obstacles at home and biases by her coworkers.

2. The Forgotten Army – Azaadi Ke Liye
The Forgotten Army is the story of Indian soldiers who marched on the capital shouting “Challo Dilli” to free India from colonial authority. The first women’s infantry regiment from the Russian troops of 1917–18 was part of the Subhash Chandra Bose-led Indian National Army, formed from Indian soldiers who had emigrated to the Empire of Japan during World War II.

3. Avrodh: The Siege Within
The chapter “We Don’t Know Fear” from India’s Most Fearless by Shiv Aroor, and Rahul Singh inspired the film Avrodh. The nine-part series’ first few episodes focus on the strike’s preparation, while the latter two deal with the strike itself. The mission is kept a secret from everyone as planning proceeds at the highest echelons of government in New Delhi.

4. POW: Bandhi Yudh Ke
Two soldiers with a sinister secret in joint return to their families after spending seventeen years in captivity. While a government spy tries to reveal they’re terrible secret, the two families attempt to continue where they left off. The POWs are currently trying to acclimate to the surroundings they left 17 years ago. The government agent uses several strategies to identify these POWs but runs into problems.

5. Bard of Blood
When four Indian spies are kidnapped, RAW operative Kabir Anand is excommunicated, and a brave analyst and a sleeper agent engage on a secret mission in Balochistan. Unfortunately, the mission quickly goes south, and Kabir is forced to confront his past demons.

6. 21 Sarfarosh: Saragarhi 1897
More than 10,000 Pashtun and Orakzai tribal members attacked an army station in Saragarhi in September 1897, and 21 soldiers of the British Indian Army’s 36th Sikh regiment fought them.

7. Regiment Diaries
Historical videos and testimonies of soldiers highlight the wartime experiences, distinctive customs, and overarching values of the many regiments of the Indian Army.
