Elon Musk: Tesla Roadster to float in air using Rocket Fuel

Elon Musk wishes Tesla Roadster to float in the air using rocket fuel. After launching a car into space, the Tesla CEO sees the Roadster hover in the air – and from Elon Musk, we’re not surprised.

If you were CEO of an electric car company and an aerospace systems company at the same time, what would you do? Well, Elon Musk, who is actually in that position, wants to bring together the best of both worlds.

It has created a car that floats in the air. The idea is to use rocket fuel to make the Tesla Roadster hover, as in futuristic films.

The billionaire told his plans during an episode of the Joe Rogan Experience podcast. “I want it to be hovering, and I was trying to figure out how to make this thing hover without, you know, killing people. Maybe it can hover three feet above the ground, or something like that. If you fall, the suspension will explode, but you will not die “, he pondered.

Back in 2018, by the time he took a Roadster into space, Musk had already spoken openly about the idea of ??putting rocket boosters on the Roadster. Therefore, just put the pieces together to get some idea of ??what the entrepreneur has been up to.

Of course, even if Musk decides to take the ideas off the paper, there is still a lot to be done before we see cars hovering around. The regulatory bodies themselves would have a lot of work ahead of them – but they had better get ready, as the new Roadster hits the market in 2022.

Overcoming limits

There doesn’t seem to be anything impossible for Elon Musk, as he is continually pushing boundaries with his companies. Bringing the cut to Tesla, the company recently announced two vehicles with a U-shaped steering wheel (like an airplane stick) – something that took the United States National Highway Traffic Safety Administration by surprise. The agency asked to see more closely how the controller works.

During Joe Rogan’s podcast, Musk said the steering wheel was incredible, and something similar is used in Formula One. That’s when Rogan hit back, “Yes, but you’re not on the road in a Formula One car. I like to drive like this, supporting your hand on top of the steering wheel “.

Elon finished flatly: “Well, the autopilot is getting good enough that you don’t have to drive most of the time. I think you can rest your hand on your knee.”
