Tambola Caller — Housie Board · Effective 19 August 2026

Tambola Caller is a number-calling board for the person hosting a game of Tambola or Housie. There is no account, no sign-in, and no server of ours. This page explains exactly what the app stores, and how the advertising that keeps it free works.

Your game stays on your device

• The numbers called so far, the prizes you have marked as claimed, and your settings are stored locally on your device only, in the app's own storage. This is never uploaded, transmitted, synced, or backed up to any server of ours. We have no server, and no way to read it.
• The developer never receives your game data in any form.
• Tambola Caller asks for no name, no email address, no date of birth, no phone number, no precise location, no photos, no contacts, and no health data. It does not ask who is playing.
• The app needs no internet connection to run a game, and works with the phone fully offline.
• There is nothing to delete from a server, because nothing was ever sent to one. Deleting the app removes everything it stored.

Advertising — how the free app stays free

Tambola Caller is completely free, with every feature included. In exchange, the app shows one small banner ad, served by Google AdMob.

• Like any mobile advertising service, AdMob may collect device information (such as device model, IP address, and advertising identifier — “Device ID” and “Advertising Data” in App Store privacy terms) to serve and measure ads, including for tracking where you allow it. Google describes this in its own privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.
• The ad SDK may also collect coarse location, product interaction, crash and performance data. That information is not linked to your identity, and it is collected by the ad SDK rather than by us.
• You decide about tracking. Tambola Caller uses Apple's App Tracking Transparency: personalised ads are shown only if you tap “Allow” on the standard iOS prompt, and you are not asked until you have actually used the app. If you decline, you still get the full app with non-personalised ads instead — nothing is locked or reduced.
• You can change your choice anytime in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
• Where required by law, a consent message (Google UMP) is shown before ads load.
• Ads load only when the phone has a connection. With no signal the game runs exactly the same, without them.
• The app never passes the numbers you called or the prizes you marked to the ad system. The ad system knows nothing about your game.

Data collected, in App Store terms

All of the above is collected by the Google AdMob advertising SDK. Your game appears nowhere on this list because it never leaves your device.

Analytics

None. Tambola Caller contains no analytics or crash-tracking SDKs beyond what Google AdMob itself uses to serve and measure ads.

Purchases

There are none. Tambola Caller has no subscriptions, no in-app purchases, and no paid tier — and it never will have.

Speech

Numbers are spoken using the voice built into iOS, on the device itself. The app does no recording and requests no microphone access — it only speaks, and never listens.

Notifications

None. Tambola Caller sends no notifications at all, and requests no notification permission.

Children

Tambola Caller is a board and caller for a family party game, operated by the person hosting it. It is not directed at children and offers no accounts, no social features, and no chat. It contains no real-money or simulated wagering of any kind — it keeps no scores, holds no stakes, and awards nothing. It is simply a replacement for the bag of numbered tokens and the paper board.

What Tambola Caller never does

• Never asks you to create an account or share contact details.
• Never uploads or sells your game data — it exists only on your phone.
• Never listens to your microphone or records audio.
• Never charges you: no subscriptions, no in-app purchases, no paywalls.
• Never shows full-screen, video, or pop-up ads — one small banner, nothing more.

Your controls

• Deleting the app deletes everything Tambola Caller stored.
• Starting a new game clears the board and every claimed prize.
• The spoken call-out can be switched off in the app's setup screen.
• The iOS tracking permission can be granted or revoked at any time in Settings.
