Privacy Policy

The short version: Chrono Dash has no accounts and no sign-up, and your progress and high scores are stored on your device. The free version shows advertising, and the global leaderboards and daily challenges send your score off the device so it can be ranked. Both are explained below.

Who this applies to

This Privacy Policy describes how the Chrono Dash iOS and iPadOS game ("Chrono Dash," "the game," "we," "us") handles information. It applies to everyone who downloads and plays the game from the App Store. It does not cover the App Store itself, which Apple operates under its own privacy policy.

Information we collect directly

None that identifies you. There is no account, no sign-up, no email address and no profile. We do not ask for your name, your contact details or your location.

What stays on your device

Your game progress, settings, Time Crystals and personal best scores are stored locally on your device. Deleting the game removes them. We do not back them up to any server of ours.

Leaderboards and daily challenges

If you take part in the global leaderboards or the daily challenges, the score you post is sent off your device so it can be ranked against other players' scores. A posted score is not linked to your real-world identity. If you never use these features, nothing about your play is transmitted by us.

Advertising

The free version of Chrono Dash displays advertising supplied by a third-party advertising provider. Advertising providers generally process device-level information — such as an advertising identifier and coarse device or usage data — under their own privacy policies, and that processing is outside our control.

On iOS and iPadOS, Apple requires an app to ask your permission before tracking you across other companies' apps and websites, and you can review or change that at any time under Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

Removing ads

Chrono Dash offers an optional in-app purchase that removes advertising. Purchases are processed entirely by Apple. We never see or store your payment details.

Children's privacy

Chrono Dash is rated 4+ and is intended to be suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the game, please contact us and we will delete it.

Data security

Because the game holds no account and keeps progress on your device, there is no personal profile of you held on our systems that could be exposed.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date above.
