No matter where you fly or drive to for your honeymoon, youre bound to be spending a considerable amount of time in the bedroom. Lingerie doesnt take up much space in your luggage, so youre able to pack a couple of sets and still leave room for souvenirs. Pick a few pieces that you know will excite your partner and a few others that just make you feel great. Not all lingerie is actually comfortable for sleeping in, so having some kind of negligee thats soft and less structured will do the trick when it comes to actual sleep. Honeymoons are a time for adventures inside the bedroom and out, so make sure youre planning to have fun!

Nothing makes you feel like youve gone through a transformation, like changing up your wardrobe. Depending on where youre honeymooning, you might not have enough clothes for the climate. No one wants to do laundry on their honeymoon, so pack enough for the whole trip. This might require some shopping.

While not as sexy as some of the other items of your list, spending some time of your honeymoon talking about how to set your marriage up for financial success is a great idea. One thing you’ll want to be sure to do is to figure out how to create an investment plan that allows you and your spouse to have a bright financial future. That may include learning how to invest in mortgage-backed securities or figuring out how much of your paycheck to contribute to your company 401k plan. While money isn’t that fun to talk about in the present, setting yourself up for a bright future is important and your honeymoon gives you the perfect time and place to do just that.
