Nominations and Winners of 82nd Academy Awards (Oscars 2010)

The Academy Awards, popularly known as the Oscars, are presented annually by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences to recognize excellence of professionals in the film industry, including directors, actors, and writers. The formal ceremony at which the awards are presented is one of the most prominent award ceremonies in the world.

The most awaited Academy Awards or Oscar for 2010 just completely announced the last and final award – the Best Motion Picture of the year 2010 that was awarded to “The Hurt Locker” directed by Kathryn Bigelow who also won Best Director for the year. It was held at the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood, hosted by the actors Steve Martin and Alec Baldwin.

I was amazed by seeing to see the results as I was thinking that “Avatar” to win the Best Picture award. Well, Avatar made millions of sales from the movie but for Academy Awards “The Hurt Locker” won the overall best picture of 2009.

Great job, I have a funny story about the ceremony. (I’ll post it on my site too)

Reader’s Digest Version (and not as funny)

            here it is:

I thought I was watching the show live but it turned out I was watching the recorded version….until 1:45 AM. This is the second time I’ve done that, last month I was watching the kickoff in the Superbowl and learned it was already half time…..

            Sometimes TIVO isn’t good! ;-)

            • Lolz, that was funny. It seems you act as a tubelight, sometimes takes time to light up :) .Hehe just kidding.

Btw, thanks for sharing your personal exp. with us. This is really funny for me :)

              • Kissie says:

Man, I dread watching the commercials. I’m not a big fan of TV so when it’s a program I really want to watch, I record it. Normally I wait until the next day or later in the week to watch my recorded program(s). As you can see, I’m not good at watching the same day….esp just minutes later!

Duh! Glad it was funny to you. I trust you that’s why I shared my embarrassing story with you. 8-) .-= Kissie´s last blog ..Say it Quickly =-.

                • Hey Chill Kissie, that was not embarrassing. Everyone got its own style, even I don’t watch live shows mostly because I always feel bad when my favorite person not wins the show or title :)

I just saw the Blind Side last night and absolutely loved it! If everyone helped people like that, the problems of the world would not exist. My girl thinks it should have won best picture too, but I am not sure that I am down with that.

What you said made many good sense. But, consider this to be, what if you added in just a little content? I am talking about, I dont want to explain to you how to run your website, but imagine if you added anything to perhaps get peoples attention? Just like a training video or a image or two to get people excited about what youve got to mention. I believe, it would make your site become more active somewhat.
