iPhone has created a lot of buzz in recent past and now it has some die-hard fans around the globe. The latest gadget which is more talked about lately from apple is its yet to be launched device iSlate. Its a Tablet Mini-Computer which has some sleek looks, a MAC Operating System ( which is tentative ) and some serious competition to many such devices.
So What is Apple Tablet anyway ?
Apple Tablet is a Portable Device which has LTPS (Low Temperature Poly Silicon) LCD technology with 10 to 12 inch screen and it will be a big competition to present available Netbooks. From its first looks it seems that it will not have a conventional keyboard like in Netbooks and the thickness would be as slimmer as it gets. The Screen Resolutions will be high and it will be good enough for watching HD videos & playing games.
What functionality does it have?
A Netbook without a keyboard and mouse will look awesome.. but a touch screen device would surely make tablet out of the world. It can be interpreted like a oversized iPhone or a compact Macbook, with excellent features which can replace your notebook at home while travelling. The Wireless connectivity features will ensure the all round connections with iPhone, iPods, iMac & the Macbooks.
Its capable of running applications, playing games, surf the internet, reading e-books, and possibly has a video camera for video conferencing and touch screen functionality. The main advantage of apple tablet is its easy carry along while you are on the run due to its compact design. It also comes with the ever good touch sensibility which you have already noticed in the Apple iPhone.
When is it Launching?
Most probably it will be launching in March this year and will definitely be a trend setter in the market as Apple always has been from the past.
What will be its Pricing?
Price would be around $750 to $1100 as per the running rumors.

I have about 5 ipods (starting from the first edition ipods), 2 iphones, a white mackbook, and a mackbook pro I just purchase 2 months ago.

Based on the recent history of the iPhone, i won’t be rushing out for the first release. I’m gonna wait for the product to improve and and also wait for the price to drop. Knowing Apple I won’t have to wait too long. I’d love to know many people had buyers remorse after rushing to purchase the first version

Today is the day that Apple and Jobs blessed us with the Apple iPad. Personally it’s exactly what I thougtht it was gonna be practically a bigger iPhone, I’m actually gonna wait to pick an Apple iPad up. I want to see one with a microphone, multitasking, USB and a camera before I’ll make the jump. I especially think that a microphone is the most important feature it is missing. What do you guys think?
