If good designing is about effective communication, I am willing to prove you wrong because it’s only the half way you are coming. There is another equally important consideration i.e. the words you use to convey your message.
So not taking too much of your time, let me share my views with you.
As we all know, in today’s world companies face intense competition, demanding customers, product proliferation and new media agencies. In this changed scenario, business leaders have to constantly look for new sources of competitive advantage to just stay in the market.
In this case simply good designing doesn’t do much. The message has to be loud and clearly aimed straight at your target market. The intensity of the message should make the target sit up, take notice, shake him or her, feel the fire within and act as you want them to. For example, a good designed ad is not enough when it is not connecting with your brand communication.
So do not just design ad campaigns but design attitudes & smiles that hold persona of an organization and stance of its people. Your communication encumbers with art and divinity so that it can shape ideas like a personality is developed.
Moral of the story: Neither great design nor compelling words alone make your communication effective. Hence, powerful communication is right combination of visuals and words.
