Google Buzz is a new way of socializing within Gmail and its already a success with loads of positive and negative buzz in the world. With the increase in the popularity, it has became a great place to share information on the net. Many bloggers thinks that it will become the top sources from where their blogs gets traffic in the coming future due to its integrating with google reader. Even I am experiencing some raise in the traffic which I am getting from Google reader from last week or so.
I am sure you all know what is Tweetmeme. Now you can have similar type of application to share your articles to your buzz profile, the application’s name is Buzrr. It is just like Tweetmeme, Buzrr gives you a re-buzz button just like below image.
Buzrr is just released 4 days a go by Dennis Hettema, a Swedish Marketing Technologist. And it seems like not more of people know about this application but I believe it will be widely used in the future just like Tweetmeme. Well even after so many negative publicity, millions of people using Buzz and I am sure this number will increase tremendously in coming days. So if Buzrr grab this opportunity, might be they will become big as Tweetmeme.
How to Add Buzrr to your website or blog
They also launched Buzrr version 0.3, the first web app to catch Google Buzz memes in a central place. But the site is very simple for now and it doesn’t include any categories. Even their is no about us page or any description how it works.
Future Developments at Buzzr
- Buzrr team working on Buzzr.com wordpress plugin and the expected release date is 3rd March.
- Buzrr team working on some intelligence to categorize buzz automatically as there is no category define in their website at presently.
But I think if Buzrr grab the opportunity created by ever increasing popularity of Google Buzz, might be they will become big as Tweetmeme. But for that they will have to strike the market very hard by creating a damn-good experience for the users.

Its really worth waiting for the date to be available as plugin. I was searching for Buzz and Stumbleupon. It is very hard to find suitable widget to show the counter for these services.

Hi Yogesh. You have been on top of the Buzz since day one. This is good to know and I think it will really take off after the WordPress plugin is available next week.
I have a question, do you know any specific statistics on the number of Buzz users? I don’t have Buzz but I can share them to my Google reader, do you think that would count me as a Buzz user?

Well, if you are using only Google reader that doesn’t mean you are Buzz user, for that you have to create your account in Buzz first.
I don’t have the specific data on how many Buzz users are there, but according to Google official blog there are millions of Buzz users already added. And a news on mashable shows that over 9 millions users added only after 2 days of Google Buzz launch.

Hi Kevin, Thank you for using re-buzz button its very easy to use re-buzz button just paste the above script in your template posts loop. you can use css to position the re-buzz button. use float right to position it on right side of your post. i hope it will help.
