Sony’s Alpha A7S, DSLT A77II and RX100 III are coming to India

The Cyber-shot RX1000 III is selling for Rs 54,990 whereas the A7s will be available from mid-July onwards for Rs 1,54,000. The DSLT A77 II will have three configurations: A77IIM with 18-135mm lens for Rs 1,04,990, A77II body only for Rs 84,990 and A77IIQ with 16-50mm lens for Rs 1,14,990.

The Sony RX 100 III has 20.1MP 1-inch BSI-CMOS sensor paired with BIONZ X image processor. The RX 100 III has OLED Tru-finder EVF that is a dedicated pop-up OLED viewfinder.

The RX 100 III has 1.4 million dot resolution which is like a pop-up flash unit. Pop up mechanism has maintained the RX100 IIIs compact form factor. The EVF switches between the monitor and viewfinder display using a proximity sensor.

The RX 100 III comes with a ZEISS Vario-Sonnar 24-70mm lens with multiple aperture ranges of f/1.8-f/2.8. In comparison, the RX 100 II had a f/4.9 maximum aperture making the RX 100 III two stops faster. The RX 100 III is provided by a 3-stop neutral density filter.

The Sony RX 100 III records full High Definition videos at 50Mbps data rate with lower compression, using the XAVC S format. It also has features like NFC and Wi-Fi.
