if stuff in some framework or pure javascript with few mine functions really makes difference. jQuery actually, as most used, stands for other frameworks also.

Pros, cons and what to look out for would have helped out a bit.
Also some of these are libraries – not frameworks.
For what its worth – JavaScript was not designed to look like Java. It was originally Live Script and because of some marketing ploy the name was changed to JavaScript.
For instance, JavaScript has closures Java (at this point does not). JavaScript does not have strongly typed objects, Java does.
I still have a long way to go on JavaScript, I only know jQuery out of the 17. All the best.

javascript codings can prevent people from seeing the code, but when the browser is about to execute it, it has to have a copy. People can simply disable Javascript or they may look in the browser cache files to see the source codes.

I would also add DHTMLX JavaScript library to the list. It offers a complete collection of reusable UI components which cover nearly all interface needs of a web app.
