If you have been already listed by the penguin then it is better to have a new start. New start will make things easier for you.

Once hit by the penguin update, it will always have an aim on your back and will always return when you think everything is fine. So listen to me and start over.

It’s over for your site if your website has been hit and now on the lists of black sites, the penguin never forgets.

Google won’t know who to believe as reporting spam on your page by your competitor’s is malicious. If that’s case you have a good reason to give it up.

My site was hit by the penguin, and I lost all SE traffic in two days.
It was not a black hat site. I am doing like you say here and are starting from scrach on a New site.
I will do a 301 on the post from the old site, so I can keep the content.

Well I think removing the paid links will be the greatest of all way to reduce the effect of penguin. As it doesn’t take much time for Google to recognize the nature of the link. Thanks for the useful tips.
This update removes almost spamming in web promotion. This way the genuine persons can get good results compared to spammers.
My advice is to try and use only white hat techniques, there’s no room for gray!
It really possibilities if you old articles or not as Twitter posts goes through so fast..Even Yesterdays post seems old..
Post penguin I have stuck to mainly white hat techniques, I also did a lot of link pruning and worked on my anchor text diversity, this seems to have helped.

My site was hit by penguin and I’ve really no idea of how to repair the damage. I can’t just scrap the site though, I’m too involved in it for that. Just hoping google sees sense in the coming month and rolls out an update that flips the balance back again.
I was once hit by penguin and it really hurts. I think you are right at the number one thing about controlling all comments that is spam because it is one of reason Google penguin hits us. Thanks for sharing this awesome things to overcome from Google penguin.
Hmm..thats reason..I was wondering how my website rank got down. now I am ready to lead up again.. no matter what google brings as new updates. Just one thing we need to keep in mind that there must genuine content as well traffic flow.
Writing every day and adding quality content to your site will overcome the dreaded Penguin.
Great tips man. but SEO is just too complex to predict, most bloggers and other websites owner do the opposite of these SEO gospel and their ass dont get kicked, maybe there is still an algo in Google we are still yet to specifically detect

I completely agree about the starting over bit if your site is targeted. There are no shortcuts towards the time-consuming work it takes to build fresh and unique content in your website with quality backlinks linking towards it. Internet marketing is not a get-rich-quick scheme. There is a lot of money to be made, but effort must be applied.
